Jews, Judaism and Jewishness

In 1995, whilst a postgraduate student researching metal scenes, I was employed as a research assistant for the now-defunct organisation Jewish Continuity. Since then, writing and researching about metal and Jews (mostly considered apart from each other, but sometimes together) have formed the twin spines of my career.

This themed collection includes a wide range of publications on Jews, Judaism and Jewishness – sociological studies of the UK Jewish community, reports commissioned from Jewish organisations, writings on Jews, politics, antisemitism and Israel, and work on Jewish culture. Related collections include Jews and Metal, Antisemitism, Racism and Hate, Community, Conflict Resolution, Civility and Dialogue and Israel/Palestine.

You can also find, in a separate collection, the issues I edited of the Jewish Quarterly in 2014-2015.
